About Talia
I started tutoring Algebra in high school (Class of 2013) to my classmates who struggled to pick up on the lesson plans.
I am a recent college graduate that has taken several math courses in my educational career, ranging from high school Algebra to college level Pre-Calculus. I have tutored many students to pay my way through college. Moreover, I have a passion for helping the next generation of students excel in mathematics.

I work through lesson plans and math problems with the student to get an understanding of where they are and what they struggle with. I continue doing so until the student can solve the problems on their own, seamlessly, without my help.

My advice to students looking for help in their math studies is to find someone who will exercise patience with you, and is willing to take things step-by-step. Math can be complicated for anyone no matter the subject, and it is important as a tutor (teacher or instructor) to be understanding, as some take longer to catch on than others.

I liked that Talia broke the problems down in a matter that my granddaughter could understand. If she got an answer wrong, Talia explained why and where she went wrong to prevent making those mistakes come time for testing. Talia shows great care and patience.
