About Kristen
Tutoring that is personalized for the individual student. Not every child learns in the same way. I spend time with the student to discover their learning style. Lessons are then designed around their strengths to help them achieve success.
I love helping students succeed
I have a special needs child. I left the corporate world to help her complete high school. I discovered my passion for teaching while helping her.
I have a BS. in business and I am currently seeking my certification in k-12 special education and 3-8. Math. I have worked as a k-12 substitute teacher for the last 4 years.

When i begin working with a student, i try to identify their learning style and where they are struggling. I then find out about, their likes, dislikes and what they are passionate about. Finally, i will try to design lesson plans that will be engaging and creative to capture the students interest.
