About Katrina

Like you, I am also a student who recognizes and understands the struggle of staying on top of your schoolwork. I also understand how seeking for help from teachers, especially during these unprecedented times, is not only daunting but also difficult. I look forward to creating a comfortable and engaging space for students to ask me any questions and spend as much time as they need for any concepts that they find challenging. They can also reach out to me via text or email for any questions that may arise outside tutoring times. At the same time, please feel free to treat me as a fellow student!

While studying, I like to create my own questions and explain concepts to myself. Using this method to study has been especially helpful in ensuring my academic success. I figured I can use this study method to help another student like myself.

I can tutor in AP Calculus AB, General Chemistry or AP Chemistry, and AP Biology or any courses that have the equivalent curriculum. I received a 5 on my AP Calculus AB and AP Chemistry tests and a 4 for my AP Biology. Out of all of these subjects, however, I feel the most comfortable with calculus as I have experience taking the non-AP class in high school, the AP level class, and also the college level.

About the lesson

I would advise them to find someone that you will feel comfortable asking questions about their work and sharing any other academic struggles that have been affecting them.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Any type of question is a valid question. I encourage the students who would be willing to work with me as their teacher to feel comfortable in asking homework or conceptual questions that they struggle with.
