About Gabrielle

My goal is to help boost my students' confidence in their abilities to do math and science at a high level. High achievement is attainable with the right mindset and proper tutelage.

There was a time, as a young student, when I really struggled with maths and the sciences, so I completely understand what it's like when nothing seems to be clicking! Thanks to the help of a handful of amazing tutors and professors, I came to the realization that I had the ability to do well and I eventually overcame the academic obstacles I faced. I am now the proud recipient of two prestigious degrees :)

I've been tutoring for roughly 4 years now and a lot of the students I've worked with have been C and D grade students. Few things make me happier than witnessing their confidence levels rise and seeing them mature into A and B grade students.

It's always awesome when you get to change the course of someone's future for the better.

About the lesson

If this is your first time with me, I'm pleased to have you :-) I will be asking you a few questions to get a feel for where you stand academically: your strengths, your weaknesses and areas you feel could use improvement.

I typically communicate with my students through text message. I've found that class is way more effective when students tell me beforehand what topics they are struggling with so I can get presentations, worksheets and/or mini quizzes prepared. I invite all my students to send me a quick text message before class to give me a heads up.
