About Nope

Hello! I love helping both high school students and adult students grasp complex concepts and succeed. I've served in a contract capacity as an Algebra, Trigonometry, and Geometry instructor for a small school in the northwest suburbs of Chicago for 2 semesters before recently relocating to northeastern Alabama where I continue share my love for learning math and spreadsheets. I graduated college with the highest GPA in my class (4.0) with a BS in Chemistry, and I've been helping others succeed in topics ranging from algebra to Google Sheets and from Visual Basic to CSS ever since.

I enjoy hiking, mountain biking, reading, tinkering with software, and laughing a lot with my wife and three kids.

My students tell me that I have a gift for breaking down abstract or unclear concepts into easily understood bits of information which they can better understand. In addition to my education requiring a significant number of credits in the use of equations, critical thinking, and analysis, I have professionally worked for a decade in the nuclear energy industry where upper level math was a requirement every day.

Let's work together! I want to share in the joy of your success.
