About Eva

I completed a teaching apprenticeship program in Indianapolis after my undergraduate study at Northwestern University.

I am actually a licensed teacher! I am licensed to teach life sciences grades 6-12 and math grades 5-9, so I've worked students of many ages. I also worked as a math tutor in high school/college on higher level math courses like algebra and geometry.

About the lesson

First, we identify which part of the class a student needs the most help with. Is it a certain topic? Study skills? Just needs practice? Then, I help students come up with a plan to make sure they get what they need from our sessions.

I have worked with students in 6th through 12th grade in the classroom, small groups, and individual sessions. I have also worked with college-age students in individual lessons.

Look for someone who can help you grow as a scholar, not just someone who will drill the material into your head for the exam. There's a big difference between just memorizing and actually learning.
