About Megan

I am able to help with a variety of subjects through all grade levals. Over the years I have developed a variety of tools to help when solving problems. This allows for various approaches to be used as one process does not work for everyone. I am willing to learn with you and help develop a plan that is individualized.

I love the ability to help individuals with school, I believe in the true power that school has and its ability to change lives. I want to help individuals discover their love for school. As well as helping to work with students who may be having a hard time. I am dedicated to school and am able to help with docetse subjects. I am excited to start this process.

I am a high school student who also dual enrolled at a local college. I do not have a degree in education however, I often go to local schools and volunteer in classrooms which includes teaching lessons and tutoring students. I participate in a program called links in my school in which I am paired with students who need a little extra help in class. I have class with the students and I'm able to create a more individualized and personalized experience for them.

About the lesson

I first get acquainted with the student. This allows for the lesson/help to be individualized to specific students. I also find out what has worked for them previously. I have found it helpful to find something that they have a passion about then questions and examples can be related to that subject. Also, I want the students to tell me what they are struggling with because the way they relay the message has value.
