About Suzanna

I am a working, certified, and licensed teacher with elementary and middle school experience specializing in math, science, and STEM science. The school I work for is a STEM designated school and I often teach math to above level students. For example, I am a 5th grade teacher with 5th grade students that were learning 6th grade math.

I love to help students achieve their "Ah ha" moments, to help them find their understanding in a concept.

If math is not your favorite subject, I may not be able to make you love math but I will try to make you hate it less!

I am a fully licensed K - 8 elementary school teacher that holds a Masters in Elementary education.

About the lesson

I will ask what concepts are a struggle to them and if they or the parents do not have a definate answer, for example they state that math is just hard, I will have the student complete an evaluation test. I will then customize their tutoring plan based on the feedback given by the student, parents, and data from the test.
