About Christie
I have a passion for helping students strive in the classroom. Growing up I had Dsylexia so I know what it is like to fall behind and struggle in the classroom. I do not want children to feel the way I did in the classroom so I am here to help!
I have my education degree from Grand Canyon University and I am working on my certification for Texas. I currently work in the public school system. This is my third year in an elementary school. I also tutor a few students during the week after school.

When I work with a new student, I like to build rapport with them for the first session. I want to know what they are interested in, what they like, do not like, and where they are struggling. I want them to know that I am here for them and to help!
I have worked with students ranging from kindergarten to forth grade.
I would tell the student to hire someone that they connect with and will be able to build a relationship with. Someone they feel comfortable with and that will be there for them when they are struggling.
