About Roger

When I started my business people would say, "Beau Knows" like Bo Jackson the famous multi-sport player. "Beau Knows Math" was founded with the mission to "Educate kids and adults in hopes to grow their passion for Mathematics." I love what I do and am excited to help YOU!

I enjoy helping people find their way through Math. Mathematics can be hard, but it can also be rewarding in many ways. I love showing people the usefulness of mathematics in the world we live in.

I started teaching YOUNG. When I was in middle school I would always help my classmates understand certain concepts they would struggle with. That passion to help continued to grow!

I am a Senior at Georgia State University working towards a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. I have tutored around campus for different friends, colleagues and people alike. I have been an independent Math Tutor for about 2 years now and I absolutely love it! I love mathematics and I love helping young minds develop a passion for it too.

About the lesson

The first session is always free. Typically, the student and I will meet for about 30-45 minutes. This is the most important session because this is where I am able to understand the students goals and learning objectives. I will take all the information gained from this session and create a study plan based of the details received.

I have worked with students that range from 10-25+ years of age. I have worked with all types of different people.

I would advise them to do what is best for them. If hiring a teacher is what you need to help better understand certain concepts then do so! Don't let the cost of anything deter you from dreams and success!

Here are my current March 2018 pricing details:

-Payment is due before each session. A receipt will be made upon payment.

-Students within a 30 mile radius from my location get a rate of $25/hour

-Students between a 31-60 mile radius from my location get a rate of $35/hour
