About Rebecca

I'm Becky Schantz and I have a Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Mathematics. I've been tutoring ALL grades and ages FOREVER. I have taught Basic Math, Prealgebra, College Algebra, Precalculus, Trigonometry, and others at the college and secondary levels. My mother is a retired school teacher who taught me math at home through manipulatives, cooking, and the outdoors. Students say they learn from me because of my real-life examples and the way I break down the concepts. I hope to hear from you soon!

Grab a bowl of popcorn. ;-) I'll try to be brief. My parents were teachers, so there were always educational materials around. I tutored algebra to friends and family and loved it. I didn't plan on being a math teacher but I decided I wanted to do what I loved for a career. I researched what was needed (to teach college, a master's degree is required), accomplished that goal and started to apply for a position.

About the lesson

Mathematics lessons offered by Rebecca are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Marthasville. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
