About Zion

I am very understanding and will spend as much time as needed to help a student improve on the specific subject. I also will go at a pace comfortable and effective for the student. As a student myself, I have learned many different techniques and strategies which have helped me understand certain concepts easier and hopefully, I'll be able to teach these techniques and strategies to you during our tutoring sessions.

I enjoy being able to teach students to help them make a subject they consider hard into an easier one.

I started tutoring at school for one of my clubs. I would tutor other students who had difficulties in a subject; I would then try to make the subject/concept/etc. easier for them to understand.

About the lesson

My typical process for a new student would start with getting to know the student, creating that student-teacher connection. Afterward, we would figure out the subject/concept/etc. that is currently difficult for them. Then, we start learning!

I've worked with various types of students. I have worked with inattentive and unmotivated students who require a lot of help on the subject as a whole. I've also worked with very motivated students who require very little help but needs help on certain concepts.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Before talking to their teachers regarding their needs, a student should think whether or not they can figure out the problem on their own. For example, if a student has a question regarding a math problem, they should look through their notes/textbook/etc. and find clues that will help them find a solution. If none were found, this would be the best moment to talk to their teacher. Although teachers would always encourage questions from their students, we would also want them to attempt things on their own as well.
