About Riley

As a student myself, I feel as though I bring new and innovative ways to teach material!

I have worked with 5th graders before and love the exciting opportunity to both connect and teach students.

I love to work with kids and I always wanted to teach so I am now pursuing a masters in mathematics to be able to teach math.

I have taught a class of 5th graders before in stem related areas at Campus School in Memphis. I have also tutored for 4 years. I also taught at an after care for the YMCA.

About the lesson

I like to first be able to engage with them on a personal level and get to know them so we can see more eye to eye. My first session usually involves just talking about what is the most troubling and what are their favorite ways to learn.
