About Jai
Graduate from NYU, grad student at Yale—I teach all pre-med subjects + humanities + french + public health!
I’ve been tutoring for the past 4 years at the college level in health science, philosophy, mathematics, reading, and french. I also mentor young college students on the pre-medical track, and have done so for the past 2 years. I have been speaking french for over a decade, and intend to continue my studies in medical school.
My tutoring philosophy is centered around the student’s overall wellbeing as they enter the learning space, and remains malleable to the student’s attitude towards learning in the moment. I believe that a flexible mind is one that is nourished, encouraged, and peacefully challenged to retain more information. My style is not strict and sharp, but rather forward and dynamic. The student will always take the lead!
