About Benjamin
Welcome! I have been tutoring and teaching math for over 10 years! I have a strong passion for math, and have a PhD in applied math. My goal is to impart my love for math to my students, and tailor each tutoring session to their needs.
I have experience tutoring middle school students, tutoring college students and teaching college courses. I have six years experience as a graduate assistant.
I first began tutoring 11 years ago when I was an undergraduate student. After that, I tutored a wide variety of college students when I was in a Master's program.
I have a PhD in applied math and 10 years of expience teaching and tutoring at the college level. I also have experience as a tutor for middle school aged students.

First, I get to know a new student by asking what they are working on and their goals. I will tailor my tutoring to their strengths and weaknesses.
A huge variety of students. I have worked with middle school aged children up to advanced undergraduates and graduate students. I have tutored college students from many different backgrounds in a huge variety of math subjects.

Details
Generally I charge $50 an hour for the first 10 tutoring sessions with a student. After the 10th session, and everytime after that, the price decreases to $40 an hour.
