About Bharat

Maths is all around us. We just need to learn to see things in a certain way to feel that maths. I can help you see that world

Schools and colleges divide the knowledge into different subjects but the universe doesnt come divided that way. My approach to learning involves relating a lesson to several kinds of observations that each of us make all the time so that one can see the relevance of the lesson and the beauty that is inherent in the study of mathematics. I bring in references from history, geography, business, art, music and various other aspects of life itself that makes Math so interesting to me in the first place

I started by being a teaching assistant in my grad studies. After that, I have taught my daughter to be very excited about maths. I am also a mentor for my high-schooler nephew, who is studying hard to be a scientist.

I trained to be an engineer and a scientist. To be able to study in the finest engineering college in India, I ranked highly in a nation-wide exam on math, physics and chemistry. I studied Computer Science, which involves the theoretical foundation on computing built from maths and I also studied Computer Engineering, which involves working on the machines that do computing (laptops, phones, washing machines, cars etc.). In my profession, I have worked on solving several mathematical problems by divising algorithms.

About the lesson

A quick test to learn where one currently stands. An evaluation of possible goals to achieve. Go through basics and refine the goals through that. My most important goal is make my student appreciate why we are learning what I'm teaching.

I have worked with school kids in my family and undergraduate kids while I was doing my graduate studies.

My preference is to work with kids who are curious, irrespective of how they are currently performing in the class. If you are curious about at least something in the world, I will find a way to connect that with maths.

Be observant of things around you - stars and planets, or rocks, or people, or music, or paintings, or sports, or food or anything else. You may not realize it but theres a way to see math lessons in anything you want to excel at. Tell me more about you and lets begin the conversation about how you can learn
