About Navasart
Tutoring based on the student's needs and pacing. Teaching the concept, practicing the concept, re-enforcing the concept, and let the student practice until the student masters the concept.
I have 17 years teaching and 8 year tutoring experience. I am a certified teacher in the state of Michigan (K-5 all subjects; K-8 all subjects [SC], Middle School Social Studies endorsement) with a Professional Certification. I hold three Masters' degrees (Armenian Studies (97), Theology (01), Education (05)), and completing my Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Curriculum Instruction.
I have Facebook and Linkedin profiles.
The most enjoyable part is when the "I got it!" lamp comes on in the student's mind. I love that feeling. It gives me the satisfaction that I was able to help a student master a concept.
I am an online and on the ground instructor in college. I am good with computers (Word, PowerPoint etc).

I always begin with a diagnostic assessment to evaluate the prospective student's strengths and weaknesses in the given subject. Based on the diagnostic assessment, and the need of the student, I prepare individualized lessons that endorses what the student is learning in class and prepare the student for any upcoming formative and/or summative assessment.
I use several methods of instruction (websites, PowerPoints, etc), and I come to tutoring fully prepared.
I have worked with many students, from a second grader to an 11th grader. I have tutoring almost all the subjects, except for science-related subjects.
I also tutor for Test Preps (ACT/SAT). My students have always done well on their college test scores.
