About Dean

I do not have any training, however I have excelled education wise and have a great passion for math.

As for music, I have recived teaching and have taught people new instruments (when switching in wind ensemble). I have gotten to the point where my band director will have me run band class when he is out.

About the lesson

For Math (and Music Theory):

We go over any homework and see anything that the student may not be understanding, then I walk them through and help them until they understand the skill or subject at hand.

For music:

I cannot work with complete beginners, they must be at intermediate level for performance lessons (playing piano, saxophone, & bassoon). They will record what they have been working on recently and send it to me ahead of time. And then we will go over areas of weakness and places to focus on. This goes with composition as well.

Details

Since I am no professional, I am a high school senior afterall, and just peer tutor students near my grade or lower (8th-12th); rates will be low. Probably as of now, no more than $25 an hour depending on the subject.
