About Liv

I graduated from University at age 16 with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Business Administration. I love helping kids learn math from elementary school to college level. I am patient and effective. I look forward to meeting you!

My college peers saw I was a top student in the math classes and they asked for my help. I proved successful in getting them to understand the material.

I have tutored college-level discrete mathematics, business calculus, and linear algebra. I work well with younger kids as well.

About the lesson

I have new students walk me through their background with strengths and weaknesses and then I start to work on their current course work. I ask them to walk me through their thought process so I can find where they are getting stuck and how they approach the problem so I can teach to their unique processing style.

Details

I charge 25.00 dollars an hour up to pre-algebra work. From Pre-algebra through algebra 2 and geometery I charge 35.00 and for college math I charge 40.00. I am also able to teach entry level Java programming for 45.00 an hour.
