About Eva
Hello! I am a recent graduate of Stanford, with a B.A. in Comparative Literature and minor in Computer Science. I have been freelance tutoring for several years and helping peers and younger students alike succeed in their endeavors.
I offer English, math, and science tutoring for middle school and high school students, and Advanced Placement tutoring services for AP English Language, AP English Literature, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus, AP Computer Science, AP Psychology, and AP Music Theory. These are all AP courses/exams I have taken in the past, with the exception of APCS and AP Music Theory.
During this hectic college application season, I am offering college applicants assistance with essay writing and other facets of the college application. Having been through the ringer of the college application process, I can offer advice and perspective on how to construct an outstanding and earnest application.
I am also an experienced western classical flute player and offer beginner and intermediate lessons, for children and adults.

I want to get to know the student a bit at first-- where they are from, their academic background, their interests and so on. I want to know the student's aims in seeking tutoring, what they are specifically looking for help on, and the learning style that works best for the student. I would want to know a general time frame for these goals so that we can work together on making them happen in a timely manner.
