About Cara
I am a University of Idaho student who has recently finished all of my Secondary Education courses with an emphasis in Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics with a 3.85 GPA.
I love working with students who are eager to learn, but I also enjoy a challenge and am up for any task.
My hope is that each student will have a better understanding of Chemistry and/or Math, and that they will have a newfound excitement for science and math and how they are involved in everything we do and see.
I have assisted many teachers at many schools in the Moscow area since. The schools I have assisted at include Lena Whitmore Elementary, Moscow Charter, Palouse Prairie Charter, and Moscow High School. I will be student teaching in the Fall and I am dedicated to making my students feel successful and excited about learning.

First I meet with the student to decide availability and ask questions such as "What do you want to achieve during our time?" "How do you feel you struggle and succeed with this specific course?"
Then I take a look at the class outline and/or syllabus to determine how much material needs to be covered.
Then I create a schedule and a plan for each unit within the given time frame.
I ease into the material slowly the first couple of sessions, then I dive deeper as I begin to understand where the student is at and how I can best help them.
