About Paul

Hi! I'm a 3rd year mechanical engineering student at UCLA. I enjoy tutoring my friends and classmates by breaking down tough concepts or helping with homework. Recently, I've been looking to make some money and many friends have motivated me to become a tutor. In addition to my informal tutoring experience, I also have about a year of volunteer tutoring experience. I was the lead AP Calculus BC tutor at my high school. I ran the tutoring sessions after school weekly and occasionally taught lessons in class. I look forward to meeting you!

I've always enjoyed tutoring and helping others. One of my favorite things is hearing that "Ohhh" after someone begins to understand a new concept. Afterwards, I get to see them complete those problems on their own without any extra help from me. It's just satisfying knowing that I am actually helping them learn.

I was a volunteer tutor at my high school and was the lead AP Calculus BC tutor. Since then, I have enjoyed helping my friends understand the material in their courses whenever I can. I eventually became motivated to get a job as a tutor.

I am studying Mechanical Engineering at UCLA. The subjects I am offering to teach are the foundation of my major. I believe I am very knowledgable in math and physics and can confidently tutor these subjects.

About the lesson

I may try to talk to them and try to understand how they prefer to learn. If they are unsure, I'll just jump in and see if it works for them and improve as I get to know learning style.

I've worked with mostly high school students and a few of my peers in college.
