About Cheyenne

The part of my job that makes it so fun and exciting is watching the growth of children educationally! I love having fun while I teach so that children can have fun while they learn! I like to do hands on activities that help meaningful information "stick" to the brain! I have been teaching since 2014 and I have worked with many age groups ranging from kindergarten up to 8th grade! I specialize in math, reading, writing, and grammar. I have taught in the states of North Carolina and Florida and absolutely love working with children! I like to help build motivation and show them that ANYTHING is possible with effort!

I have always wanted to teach ever since I was a little girl. I looked up to many of my teachers and took in a lot from them. I have always felt that the foundation of education was the most important to any profession that you go into.

I graduated from Lenoir Rhyne University in 2013 with a BA in Elementary Education. I have taught since 2015 in age groups ranging from kindergarten to 8th grade.

I also played collegiate volleyball and have coached at the middle and high school levels!!

About the lesson

* I am contacted for tutoring on any subject including, but not limited to, elementary math, reading, writing, and grammar.
* I reach back out to inquire on scheduling.

I have worked in many kinds of schools such as Christian, Public, and Charter. I have worked with children who are above their peers, on the same educational level as their peers, and also children that are lower than their peers. I am skilled in administering skills tests to determine what a child needs to work on improving.

The only advice I suggest and believe in extremely is having faith in yourself as well as having faith in me to get you where you need to be!!

I just welcomed a little boy into the world as of July 2020! My love for children has grown drastically because not only do I get to watch my "school" children grow but now a little one of my own!!
