About James
My biggest goal is for your student to really understand and grasp the material, and become someone who actually enjoys math, instead of dreading it as many students do!
I tutor students ranging from elementary school to high school, and key courses involving, Algebra, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus. I am also available for SAT Prep, as many of my students went on to score 740+ in the math section!
The most rewarding thing about my lessons is seeing the student's faces light up while learning about a concept or solving a problem. This usually results in the student asking for more challenges involving the concept!
Again, my goal is for students to develop into independent, open-minded thinkers who aren't afraid of tackling any problem they encounter. After all, math is a fun subject when we understand it!
