About Justin
I am a current junior and computer science student at a 4 year public university. I have a 3.9 GPA and got A's 4 or 5 AP classes in highschool. I have a great understanding for math, and have gotten A's in all math classes I've taken (Calc 2 being the most recent). I have experience tutoring classmates and friends, and am qualified to tutor up to Calculous 2 at my school.
I started teaching as a way to pass time. I often would tune in and out of class to make sure I understood what was going on, until I realized that many of my friends were struggling. I would then use my free time to help them instead of just tuning out of class.
I have tutored personally with friends and classmates all through highschool and college. I finished my math requirement (Calc 2) as a freshman and got A's in the course.

I first want to know what they're problem, or question is. Then after seeing their thought process, I want to see their notes and see how they've been taught to think. Then I will offer insight once I understand what their teacher has tried to get them to understand. Lastly I explain it to them so that they can think and understand it for themselves.
Mostly gifted/AP students in highschool, as they were my classmates, but also some college students in Calc I and Calc II.
It's always best to find someone who has taken to content recently. The longer it's been since they've taken the class, the more the tutor is going to have to reteach themselves to fully remember the concept.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Am I taking good notes? Have I asked questions in class? Am I paying attention in class? What specific thing do I not know?
