About Ella
I have been a teaching my entire life. Since I was 15, I have worked with people of all ages from 0-90, in both volunteer and professional settings. I have worked as a college Biology tutor online, and have tutored students 1:1 in person. After graduating with a degree in Spanish and Neuroscience from Middlebury College, I went on to teach high school Biology at Phillips Academy Andover, one of the nation's leading boarding schools.
Learning should be as fun as it is rewarding. As your tutor, my job is to build a playground for you to explore, challenge yourself, and learn not only about the subject at hand, but about yourself and your learning habits. I care about inclusive, accessible education, and will do everything I can to make sure you are learning with dignity.
I see all of my students as complex, capable individuals. I am excited to support you with personalized, thoughtful lesson plans.
