I work with students with "Teach to learn" strategy where I teach students concepts throughly until they say they fully understood, then I ask them to teach the same concept to me next day. In this way they prepare the topic on their own and also many time students think they understood, its in their mind but when it comes to saying it out loud they start to raise doubts.
I have implemented same method in my studies and it proved to be very helpful.
i had been teaching assistant in many graduate courses in maths.
well look for someone who can teach u how to study so that u don't have to look for a tutor next year.
