About Arpit

• Expanded our student community to 10 students within 2 months of operation.

• Our holistic tutoring approach encourages both conceptual mastery as well as the development of organizational and study skills.

• We work with the students to create an action plan to help them achieve their desired academic goals.

I started tutoring at my community college for supplemental income but once I started teaching I loved it and wanted to continue throughout UCLA as well

I graduated from UCLA in economics and mathematics. I haven't received a teaching degree but I have worked as tutor for 3 years.

About the lesson

I want to first understand the background of the student on the subject. Accordingly I create a structured plan for the subject

I have worked students from all kinds of background having no background in math to advance math background. Also, high school and college level chemistry, physics and statistics.

I would say don't think that if you're facing difficulties in learning or understanding course or subject it's not their fault but the system where students don't get one on one time with the teachers and I can help with that

Due to coronavirus outbreak most of the classes have gone online and students are facing difficulties in their classes which I aim to help them. I believe at home kids can have more focused learning environment

First the students need to figure out what they want to achieve through the lessons and then discuss frankly with the teacher
