About Danielle

I graduated from St Joseph's College with my Bachelors of Arts Degree in Teaching and have my Masters Degree in Literacy from University at Buffalo. I am currently a 5th grade teacher at St. Patrick School in Bayshore. I love helping students learn and succeed! Seeing that lightbulb moment for students when they understand something makes me feel so good!

I have always wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl. I have worked with children since I was able to start working and couldn't see myself doing anything else!

I graduated with my Bachelors of Arts in teaching. I was a student teacher for a year and am now a substitute teacher.

About the lesson

I talk with the student and see what they feel they are struggling with. While we are working, if I see the student is still struggling, I will try to teach it to them in a different way until we find a way that works for them.

I have worked in general education classrooms, integrated classrooms, and in a 15:1 classroom.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should think about what they are specifically struggling for. When a teacher knows where the student is struggling specifically, they can find ways to help them.
