About Wyatt
Hello potential students! My name is Wyatt Colbert, and I have worked for 4 years as an Electromechanical Engineer at Northrop Grumman, one of the largest aerospace/defense companies in America. I received my B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, and my M.S. degree in Systems Engineering from UCLA. I believe this combination of experience and success in both higher education and in actual industry will allow me to help you in all phases of your career development, whether it be performing well in your undergrad courses, or applying for jobs. I look forward to getting to know you and helping you achieve your goals, whatever they may be!
I love my work, as it challenges me every day while also allowing me creative freedom in the tasks I perform. As a design engineer, I get to create 3D models for completely novel designs, which is both challenging and fun. Having been in my current job for 4 years, I wish I had been afforded mentorship/tutoring opportunities early on in my career, as I think it is an incredibly valuable tool for ones development. Therefore I am very excited to be able to offer my help to you in the hopes that you can get your career started right!
