About Miya
I believe that my ability to relate to so many people across many platforms allows me to really help people. I come from a background of working with children and you learn to be as flamboyant as possible. I have a deep love for health and wellness. After assisting in meditation and yoga classes while I taught gymnastics, I learned so much about how these these few minutes out of our lives can change us and our path. While battling anxiety I sought for a path that would benefit my mind and in return help me in my physical world.
I heal when I heal others. There is beauty in knowledge and when your body and spirit come to one understanding it's remarkable. I love to inform people. Everyone deserves that chance. I want to give my students an outlet to be free and heal: Defining their own peace.
I have been working with Meditation/Yoga teachers for 3 years. I also have began attending courses at Insitution For Integrative Nutrition to become a Health Coach and will use meditation as one of my practices.

I usually will ask them a few questions to get to know them. More of a social call for them to get to know me and my energy. This would also be the time I ask how they would like for classes to go. What's a great time for you? Describe your learning style? And what has brought you to meditation? I want to know them as well as I can so we can see real growth.
