About Peter

Effortless high quality meditation practice

This is a funny question. The answer is that I had no choice. I was "dragged" in by something inside me. No matter how much I tried to "fight" it with all sorts of excuses it was always "destined" so to speak that I would be a Vedic Meditation teacher. I love teaching and the associated private counsel (coaching) and derive immeasurable joy out of seeing my students' lives improve.

There is a joke amongst Vedic Meditation teachers. Remind me to tell it to you should you choose to chat with us.

I first learned to meditate at the turn of the century and have pretty much not missed a day since. I started my apprenticeship in 2006 with a wonderful teacher in Australia called Limor Babai of Double Bay Meditation Center. After many hours of practice, study and assisting teaching, several trips overseas to India and the US I completed my qualifications to have my own students and my own center in 2009. Since 2010 my primary job has been as a professional meditation teacher.

About the lesson

This meditation practice has been handed down through a series of masters over thousands of years. It is designed for busy people with busy minds. People who have to deal with traffic, bills and relationships. For this reason we have discovered that the best way to work is to meet with the student for free the first time, answer their questions and give them enough information to make a decision on whether to proceed. From there we teach them all they need to know over 4 sessions such that they can go back into the world and be independent from any teacher. We also provide unlimited followup in case they have questions or need support.

I enjoy the fact that I work with all kinds of people from all walks of life. From billionaires and CEOs to homeless people. Addicts to people who have their lives together and just want to get 10% more out of life. From people with physical and mental challenges to kids. From individuals to corporations.

Almost everyone benefits from Vedic Meditation just like they do from brushing teeth.

As with anything the internet will tell you how to do it. Whether it's a legal case, a medical issue or building a house. There's plenty of "free" info out there. But you get what you pay for. You'll be a much better result in a fraction of the time if you use a professional.

Oh geez how to decide! I recently taught an older lady to meditate and she has been sending me additional $100 bills since learning. This has really helped with bills and it is a joy to know that she is really getting it.

I worked with a lady who had an English teacher who was inappropriate with her during her teens. After decades of seeing therapists and not getting anywhere she signed up to learn with additional coaching. I said that as an indicator of healing she will be able to talk openly about what she'd been through. She could not fathom that idea. 3 weeks after learning she was writing a script that she performed 3 months later in front of 200 people talking about her experience.

Many addicts in recovery come to see me. All they have to do is follow my instructions and the addiction will eventually fade to a distant memory. I know these students are successful when they "forget" to tell me they have an addiction because it's such a distant memory.

I "pride" myself so to speak on working very quickly with people. Resolving issues with a minimum of interaction with me.
