About Alec
I am experienced in different styles and playing techniques (i.e. fingerstyle, Alternate picking), music theory, chords, or anything else you love about guitar! I want to create an environment where you are exposed to what you like most about music, while progressing your knowledge and skills on the instrument.
I love to help people progress and find new ways of tackling a recurring problem. Students can sometimes get discouraged if they have been struggling with something for a long time but the reward is extremely gratifying when you finally acheive it.
I am a self starter!
I studyed various aspects of music during my time at Berklee College of Music. Music Theory, ear training, and composition were all a part of my curriculum as well as private instruction on guitar.

I have worked with children and adults who are complete beginners, but any skill level is welcome
