About Kyle
My goal is to help the future artists of tomorrow to discover their personal story, not think they have to follow somebody else's. This means to not simply be a source of information, which advises exactly what to do, but rather a source that honestly shares the wealth of knowledge that comes with being a working professional in the industry. I want to demystify the profession and arm you with the tools you need to be mentally and professionally prepared for a career in the arts.
Questions are welcomed and encouraged. And if I don't have the answer, I will be sure to find someone who does. My skills are limited, and if connecting you to someone who is a professional better suited to helping you, THAT makes me happy. And that's why I stand out from others. I want you to have the best information possible - especially if it's not from me. So allow me to help you find the right person.

I love what I do because it doesn't feel like work. Performing has allowed me to travel and see the world, work on all types of material, constantly learn new skills, and meet people all over the world - including my wife, who I met while performing in Japan!
I started teaching a couple years out of college when I worked as a substitute teacher. I then began teaching masterclasses when I would work in regional theaters and on tour.
I earned my BFA in Music Theater from Millikin University and have been working as a professional performer for almost 15 years. I have worked in NYC, regional theaters, national and international tours, cruise ships, theme parks; as well as taught theater and masterclasses from here to Japan.

I believe all students should be treated as individuals. My focus is on you and your individual needs/questions. Together, we will evaluate your current situation, define your goals, and determine the best plan to achieve those.
Each student is different. I mostly work with students who need coaching on audition material. I have also led many Q & As for high school/college students as well as parents.
I would encourage you to find someone who truly has the heart of a teacher, and can help to explain things - as opposed to a teacher simply telling you what to do. You are the artist. My job is to help you become the very best version of that.

Details
Standard pricing for classes is $30 per 1/2 hour, and $50 per hour. However, I try to work with individuals to help make classes work within their budgets.
