About Stacie

I have been a registered nurse for 15 years and I now have my Master's degree in Nursing Leadership and Management. During my active nursing years I have spent much of that time educating and guiding newer nurses on how to become better professional nurses. I spent a lot of time during my college years learning and applying what I had learned so that I could use that knowledge to help when critical situations would arise. There are plenty of times when a doctor will turn to a nurse expecting her to know the answer to the question he is suppose to know and we have to find a way to do it with grace a dignity. I spent 2 years of my career as a school nurse at a private institution and during that time I was also the full time English and grammar teacher for grades 5th-12th grades during which time I became very confident in my ability to teach this subject matter. As far as other subjects are concerned I have a great interest in Math, Algebra, Sciences, etc... Find out what their most problematic issues are then narrow them down into manageable pieces that can be dealt with one at a time

Adults, elementary, middle school, high school, college level.

First make sure your personalities are compatible because the tutor can be the greatest in the world but if there's something about them that hinders you from learning from them then it will do you no good. Then make sure you both understand what the educational goal is for the student so you don't get off track. Lastly, be honest in how you feel about how the lessons are going. If you don't think that things are going that well for whatever reason then tell the tutor, trust me they should be able to handle a little criticism from time to time.
