About Jacquelynn
I began teaching voice 35 years ago. As my students began to excel, I made a commitment to improving my coaching skills. I contacted the vocal coaches of the most famous recording artists in the country and traveled for two and a half years taking lessons from them. It was an incredible experience that led me to life long relationships. Shortly afterward I arranged auditions for my students and they began to get professional work.
From there, I created Pop Management. My responsibilities were to coach, rehearse, record, book performances, and negotiate contracts with record companies, Film production companies, booking agencies, and publishing companies.
I acquired client contracts with Capitol Records, Atlantic, EMI, MCA, Disney, Hollywood Records, Jive Records, Dream Works, MIRAMAX, New Line Cinema, Sony, Warner Brothers, and CAA. My first contract was with Michael Jackson.
In 2002 I was approached by Lockheed Martin to coach orals presentation proposals, and written proposals delivered to branches of the Military and NASA. I taught professionals who were experts in their field. From there I worked on orals proposals for L3 Communications, SAIC, Lockheed Martin, Orbital ATK, and many more.
in 2015 I opened The Acoustic Space concert and event venue in downtown Salt Lake City. My students enjoyed performing on our beautiful homemade wooden stage in front of a 150 person audience. The acoustics were beautiful.
I was diagnosed with MS in July of 2016 and sold the venue to a local theater company. Since then I have enjoyed teaching and recording with students, and making youtube videos! I teach online during the COVID 19 epidemic. I use Zoom or FaceTime for classes. I email my student's syllabus information and send them links to warm-up exercises in lew of a piano.

My joy comes from watching my students get to know their own voice. It's exciting to see them reach their personal and professional goals. It's always an honor to teach a beginning student. I enjoy teaching at all levels. I enjoy teaching all different genres. My students bring me a wide variety of both old and new music. and all ages. I teach young children under 9-years-old, who are able to concentrate take direction.
I grew up singing in Saint Annes Catholic School choir where I received excellent vocal training. In the early nineties, I opened a dance studio. I taught dance, voice, and acting. Soon after my students were auditioning for TV and Movies. As my students excelled my career took off. The rest is history!
