About Stephani
Experienced in traditional and digital photography. I believe that learning is a journey and should be fun but challenging. I believe that life is about the journey not the destination.
I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge and skills with others. My first professional job was teaching English to kids in China and well I just love teaching and meeting other people.
I received my BFA from Colorado State University. I have been shooting from a young age, spent some time in film and video and was also a corporate photographer for a time. I discovered I love to teach...and that’s what brought me to this website.

You’ll learn about lighting, composition, lenses, portraiture basics, creative uses of shutter and aperture, and more.
I have worked with all ages with all kinds of temperament. I am very patient and very intuitive. I am very people friendly and have experience with people from all walks of life.
Find someone who loves what they do and their energy will be infectious. Pick someone who likes to learn as well as likes to teach. A positive attitude go along way in my books. I like people who are tough but kind.
i recently visited the Atlanta zoo for the first time. Oh my goodness what a delight. So much for the eyes. I watched an elephant paint a picture of Africa. I saw two panda bears eat lunch as well as enjoyed the people’s reaction to said animals. So much fun.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Oh let’s see... I would talk about the type of equipment they have, what they would like to get out of the class and what there goals are for the future ie. where to you want to go with your photography.
