During her education she had the privilege of studying with Bayla Keyes and Naoko Tanaka She has been teaching for over four years with various organizations including but not limited to New York University, and the Noel Pointer Foundation.

Ms Cureton has taught students of all ages and levels of ability with an individualistic approach to work with each student to increase their skills but also their love of music. Ms Cureton’s teaching philosophy centers around fostering a love of music while also helping students to express their musicality through technical mastery. She believes in challenging her students to excellence in fine details which will help the music come alive.

I have multiple degrees in music performance, 5 years of teaching experience, and have studied various systems for teaching.

About the lesson

I approach every student differently based off of their level and goals for learning! I approach teaching from a musical but also technical stand point.
