About the lesson

I love really getting a feel for what my student's goals are. Everyone is unique, and I want to help each individual achieve the hopes and dreams they have in their heart -not my vision of what they should be. I want my students to feel understood, inspired, and empowered.

I have worked with all ages! Kids as young as 7 years old to older adults pursuing a longtime dream!

There are two main types of harps: the Celtic lever harp and the classical pedal harp. There are also two techniques that accompany these two styles of harp. It can be difficult to switch from one to the other. I'd recommend booking a free intro lesson with me to get a feel for which harp and which style you like best before committing to a teacher. I have a pedal harp and teach a classical technique but I also have a lever harp and can show you other styles.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
It's important to think about what kind of harpist you'd like to be and why your pursuing the harp. This will help you connect with the teacher that will best encourage you in your dreams. Ask questions of yourself and your teacher like, what is your favorite genre of harp music? Where would you like to perform the harp? Do you want to make money playing the harp? Your teacher should be able to guide you in not just the technique it also the performance and business side of things if that's the direction you'd like to go.

I provide lessons on a monthly basis:

1st Lesson is free!
$75/month with a 3 month commitment
$100/month for no commitment

Each month includes two lessons scheduled at your convenience roughly two weeks apart. Text and video calls between lessons is also provided!

$60 for a single lesson with no commitment

I have 1 harp for rent at an additional $50/month.
