Experienced tutor in Piano in Cincinnati, Hyrum offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

Hyrum understood my goals in taking lessons with him and helped push me, but the experience was not stressful. He was a patient teacher, but I learned a lot. I think he has a really great way of meeting students where they are.

Hyrum is a great teacher with lots of patience and extensive knowledge!

I loved having Hyrum as my teacher! I felt like he was able to really help me with my weaknesses. He helped me improve how I play and how I approach piano theory and technique in a very personal and direct way.

Great teacher!!

Hyrum was very patient, but still pushed me to go outside of my comfort zone and learn new things!

I improved so much in the time I had Hyrum as my teacher. He is patient, but very helpful, always giving specific and direct feedback. He helps explain complicated things in a simple way. SUCH a great teacher.

Hyrum is a very thorough and understanding teacher; I learned so much from him but never felt like I was ever talked down to or berated. I always felt valued and loved in his lessons, and I felt like my abilities as a pianist grew so much more through his teaching. I would recommend him to everyone!

Hyrum was an incredible teacher, not only did he have a profound knowledge base but he was fun and helped me learn better than any other teacher I've had. Personally, I'm more of a casual player and Hyrum was able to see what I was looking for out of the lessons and push me to be better without causing a burden on my main areas of study. I would have continued taking from him if I could have. Great player, great teacher and great person.
