Taught for over 25 years as band director for Catholic diocese of San Diego. Retired. Presently teaching for SD youth symphony, and arts for learning SD an affiliate of Young Audiences USA. Minored in piano and have taught for many years. Specialize in beginning students of all ages and in good reading skills. If you're really advanced I would advise looking else where unless you want help with you reading skills. I have a baby grand in my studio. It's not a Steinway but it's ok.
I love to teach music to people and watch them grow. Through music study people can learn so much focus, patience, discipline, and tenacity, and have such a great time doing it. It's food for the heart and soul for students of all ages. And it's a universal language for all nations and cultures.
