About John

As a professional educator and musician, my program is tailored to fit your needs. I do not offer a one-size-fits-all program. Unlike many other programs, I do not charge for core materials - these are free! I also have a very generous and flexible cancellation policy for today's busy individuals and families.

I thoroughly enjoy passing on the gift of music to my students. You will learn more than just "rhythms and notes". I have extensive teaching and music experience including composing, publishing, performing, and pedogogy. I have experience working with many types of students and together we'll find a way for you to learn piano or drums efficiently and effectively! I currently work not only with "general education" and adult students, I also work with students on the autism spectrum as well as students who are visually impaired. One of the most rewarding challenges for me is finding a way to teach students in a way that is enjoyable for me and the student, giving them the gift of making music and expressing themselves!
