About Alisha
Hello. I'm a professional Music Teacher in the Baltimore/Middle River area. I've taught piano lessons to students ages 4+ for nearly 20 years. Currently I’m a Substitute Music Teacher for the Baltimore County Public School system. I have also worked for the School of Rock, Music & Arts and my own private business. When you hire me you'll get a teacher who's experienced and passionate. I focus on each students individual needs, developing a lesson plan that will help them thrive at the pace and style they need to achieve their goals

I have played piano for over 30 years and taught for nearly 20 years. I attended school at UMBC. I have also been employed by the School of Rock as a Private Instructor and Group Director along with Music & Arts and my own private business of 10 years

Every student is unique. I structure the lesson plan around their needs and go at their pace. I also make sure to choose songs that are fun but also challenging so they can enjoy learning
All types. I have taught all ages, as young as 4+, and all musical backgrounds. Whether my student is just beginning or is hoping to expand on the knowledge they have, I’m here to help them achieve their goals

Well I must say that Miss Rose was absolutely fantastic. Very professional and punctual. She has experience with kids of all ages. She teaches my 9 year old and my 15 year old still takes lessons. I figured he would have given up but he really has built a wonderful repoer with her students it seems. And she is very understanding and knowledgeable. It took my 9 year a little extra time to grasp some concepts but she made sure she understood before moving on. Just simply wonderful! Honestly i don't take time to write reviews but Miss Rose Music Lessons is worthy of a 5 star review!!!
