About Regina

REGINA NGO, owner and head instructor of Regina’s Music Studio, is a University of Southern California trained piano instructor, who studied Piano Performance with Professor Bernadene Blaha. She transferred to USC after two short years of study with Dr. Polli Chambers-Salazar at El Camino College. A native San Franciscan, Ms. Ngo began studying piano in high school with Professor John McCarthy of the San Francisco Conservatory.

Ms. Ngo served as both president and vice-president of the USC Chapter’s Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) from 2013-2015, as well as the USC Chapter’s California Association of Professional Music Teachers (CAPMT). She is currently the District IX Leader of YPLN, a CAPMT Initiative. Ms. Ngo’s students have placed high scores in the prestigious ABRSM examinations, and have flourished under her careful tutelage. Ms. Ngo currently maintains her own private studio in South Pasadena that has served over a hundred students from all walks of life and can be found online with a perfect five-star rating. In addition to the piano, Ms. Ngo also plays the Chinese harp (guzheng) and continues to maintain her studies with guzheng virtuoso Weishan Liu. She is planning on pursuing her PhD in Music at the University of Southern California.

About the lesson

Piano lessons offered by Regina are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Pasadena. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
