About Kathryn

I teach piano to all ages, from 3 to adult.

I am a nationally certified teacher of music (NCTM) through the Music Teachers National Association, of which I am also a member. I also belong to the Jordan River and Sandy chapters of the Utah Music Teachers Association, served three years as 2nd Vice President and AIM Chair of the Sandy chapter, and served as president of the Provo/Orem chapter for two years. I am currently serving as president of the Jordan River chapter. I have nearly 30 years of experience teaching music to all ages, in both group and private settings, and including choral, general music, theater productions, and piano. I have developed a detailed course outline for twelve years of music study.

Perfect! We have loved being in Kathryn's studio. She has taken my daughter where she was at with her musicianship and piano and is building on the things she knows and filling in the gaps of theory/technique that she is needing. So grateful we switched.
