About Tamara

I teach piano lessons with a solid foundation in technical skills, developing each student's musicality keeping in mind their interests as well as natural curiosity.

I have a home-based piano studio near Rockville and Olney with a great space for conducting lessons as well as holding student performance classes and recitals.

I teach a variety of age and experience levels.

I've been studying piano and music theory for over 10 years and continue to be a student of music as well as perform.

About the lesson

We have some fun and introduce playing the piano through improvisation while we each get to know each other.

Perfect! I am an adult student and had previous lessons 20 some years ago. I found Ms. Engel to be very nice & professional. I only had 2 lessons with her. So far, so good. I would recommend her.
