In teaching voice, the focus is on vocal health and developing the skill sets to not only enjoy singing, but maintain care of the voice. The breath is prima, the most important part of singing, so there are a number of breathing exercises that helps the student connect their voice to their breath. Videos on my facebook page go into more detail about lessons.
In teaching piano, the basic fundamentals of music are introduced, along with exercises/scales to develop the hand and selections for fun.
