About Christian

My business stands out because I see to it that all my students are well prepared before lessons start and after the end, I make sure that parents know what going on and are prepared to help/learn with the students. I offer lessons in all styles of music and composition.

I was giving small lessons on my college campus and The leader of my program asked me if I wanted to teach music at a park district and I fell in love with teaching music.

I have a degree in contemporary Jazz Studies and was the TA of the program while in college. I was also leading music lessons at the Logan county park district in Lincoln,Illinois teaching both piano and trombone from the beginning level to the advanced level.

About the lesson

I introduce myself and ask the students how long they have played music. I ask the parent what instruments the student has played before or any musical past. The next step is ask what music interest they have so I can gear the lessons in that style of music so the student can relax and learn and have fun at the same time. The student not only learns but wants to expand what they know and try other styles.

I have worked with students as young as 5 years of age to students who are in their mid 20s to students who have families started.

Never be afraid to ask the tough questions. I can help you with anything with music but I need you to let me know what I can help you with.

I am a professional musician who does perform live and one of my students was there and asked to play with me. I was so proud of him, that I split the check with him and sent him more music to conquer and play at gigs.

My standard pricing is 20.00$ for a half hour of lessons. 40.00$ for a full hour of lessons. If the student need more time, the parents and I can discuss that later.
