About Ali
I am a senior at the University of Michigan. In the last 4 years, I studied Psycholgoy, Philosophy and Entrepreneurship. I have work experience in teaching 4th graders, 7th graders and 8th graders. I used my knoweldge from my entrepreneurship and businesess courses to start my own e-commerce business. I have also worked at a research organization that aims to develope methods for productive leadership within organization.
I enjoy watching students go from not knowing something to being able to comprehend it and implement what they learned into their everyday life. I value education a lot and I want students to value their education and see the value it adds to their personal life.
I am a teacher at a local religous institute. Every year we receive professional development training for effective teaching. I also studied adolecent psycholgoy at the University of Michigan. I have tutored family memebers in the past and have seen tremendous results.

First I assess the students current understadning of the subject. Next I ask them how they learn best, whether its through drawing things out, acting them out or through verbal explanation. Next I implement a wide range of ways to teach the material to the student. In the end, I reveiw major points and major concepts with the student by having them explain everything back to me as if they are teaching me the subject for the first time.
I have worked with 4th graders, 7th graders and 8th graders in the past.
