About Elle

I am a college student with a burning passion to help students achive their learning goals and to go above and beyond!

I've had the privilege of being able to work on my own research within the psychology field and I am in the process of getting it published. I have worked on two solo projects and one group project.

I am learning ASL to be able to be more communitcate with all students.

I am bilingual and working towards my spanish minor.

I have skills with Microsoft applications, communication skills, psychology skills (i.e. behavioral developement, cognitive psychology, ecological and developmental psychology), I also know Biology, Math/Statisics and English.

I will work hard to make sure that your student does the best that they can do! I love being able to learn from others and help others learn from me.

I enjoy being able to help students reach their goals but also help them push forward and go beyond just their goals. I love to learn and I love to help others learn. I will creat a fun and safe enviornment for my students!

I am currently a Senior at Winthrop University. I have taken a lot of courses, I will be graduating in the spring of 2021. I have taken courses such as, Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel and Powerpoint.), behavioral psychology, ethical psychology, research development psychology, politcal science course on survery research, statistics, intesive writing, critial reading, writing and thinking, cogintive psychology and intesive spanish courses (i.e., grammar, pronouncation and writing.)

About the lesson

My typical process would be to first learn more about the student. The struggles that they are facing while learning and what they are learning about. I will also want to know more about their study habits. Finally, I would ask the student what he/she is looking to get out of each tutoring session so that our time is spend purposefully and in a way that optimizes the student's time.

I have worked with students my own age and younger just helping them with homework and explaining something that they might not fully understand.

What do I struggle with? What have I done already to help with my need? How am I going to be able to help you help me?

I also recommend to have a small list of items that you would like to work on and maybe some check off's to make sure that you and I are staying on your track to succces!
